Overview of the Specified Skills (i) Evaluation Exam in Sendai

The specified skills (i) evaluation exam will be held on June 28 and 29 at "Sendai City Gender Equality Promotion Center, L-Park Sendai". This exam is based on the implementation guidelines for the specified skills (i) evaluation exam for construction industry provided by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan. There are both theoretical tests and practical skills ones in this exam.

*You cannot take the exams for multiple categories. You can only take the exam for the one category you choose.

* As a measure against COVID-19 infection, please note that the meeting time will differ for each applicant.

Capacity
80 people for each day, 160 people in total for 2 days
* If the number of applicants exceeded the capacity, you may not be able to take the exam.

* Please pay it in cash at reception desk.

For June 29 exam: by 12:00 noon on June 28, 2023

What to bring on the day
(1) Certificate (ID)

- Residence card (In case of a resident)
- Passport (In case of a temporary visitor)
(2) Admission ticket

- It will be sent as a PDF file to your applicant's page, so please print it out or show it on your smartphone screen on the day.

(3) Exam fee 2,000YEN in cash
* If you do not bring these on the day, you will not be able to take the exam.
* You must not lend or borrow goods with other examinees. Please prepare by yourself.
Announcement of exam result
It will be published on each applicant's page in two weeks after the exam.
If you pass, a certificate of specified skills file will be sent to your applicant's page as a PDF.
The PDF file is the original as your certificate, so please keep it in a safe place.
We cannot respond to inquiries about the content of exam or individual pass / fail status.

- Due to bad weather such as typhoons and heavy snow, and the spread of the new corona infection, the exam may be canceled.
- After applying, notices may be sent to your applicant's page, so please read carefully until the test date.

This exam is CBT test, using PC.
As a preparation before taking the exam, we recommend that you carry out the CBT operation trial in advance.

Flow from application for the exam to receipt of the certificate of specified skills evaluation
Follow the flow below to apply for the exams and receive the certificates and the exam results.
Applicants must register on "Applicant's page" and install smartphone app before applying for the examination.
To apply for the exam, the applicant himself/herself logs into "Applicant's page" and uses the smartphone app "JAC ExamForm". (Applicant's page requires the applicant's own account.)
An admission ticket, a result report, the certificate are sent to an applicant directly on his/her own applicant's page of JAC's website.
Only the number of the applicants, the number of the successful applicants, and a pass rate are released. The individual exam results are not released.
