Specified Skills Evaluation Exam for Construction industry in Tokyo

We hold "The Specified Skills Evaluation Exam" almost every week at the test office in Tokyo. This exam is based on the implementation guidelines for the specified skills evaluation exam for construction industry provided by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan. There are both theoretical tests and practical skills ones in this exam.

What to bring on the day

(1) Certificate (ID)

- Residence card (In case of a resident)
- Passport (In case of a temporary visitor)
  * Certificate must be real. Copies will not be accepted for the exam.

(2) Admission ticket

- It will be sent as a PDF file to your applicant's page, so please print it out or show it on your smartphone screen on the day.
- You can find out how to open the PDF of the Admission ticket here

(3) Exam fee 2,000YEN in cash

* If you do not bring these on the day, you will not be able to take the exam.

* You must not lend or borrow goods with other examinees. Please prepare by yourself.

* The reception time will be specified for each examinee. You must arrive at the designated time to be able to register. If you are late for the reception time, you will not be able to take the test.

Announcement of exam result

It will be published on each applicant's page in two weeks after the exam.
If you pass, a certificate of specified skills file will be sent to your applicant's page as a PDF.
The PDF file is the original as your certificate, so please keep it in a safe place.
We cannot respond to inquiries about the content of exam or individual pass / fail status.

Others

- Due to bad weather such as typhoons and heavy snow, and the spread of the new corona infection, the exam may be canceled.
- After applying, notices may be sent to your applicant's page, so please read carefully until the test date.

Tutorial 1 to 4 for theoretical test and tutorial 5 to 7 for practical skills test are the same as the range of the exam (i). Additionally, the tutorial for a group leader is common to all three categories.

Flow from application for the exam to receipt of the certificate of specified skills evaluation

Follow the flow below to apply for the exams and receive the certificates and the exam results.
Applicants must register on "Applicant's page" and install smartphone app before applying for the examination.

To apply for the exam, the applicant himself/herself logs into "Applicant's page" and uses the smartphone app "JAC ExamForm". (Applicant's page requires the applicant's own account.)

An admission ticket, a result report, the certificate are sent to an applicant directly on his/her own applicant's page of JAC's website.

Only the number of the applicants, the number of the successful applicants, and a pass rate are released. The individual exam results are not released.

JAC: Check the application / Issue the admission ticket

SSW applicant: Take the exam

JAC: Judge pass/faill
Issue the certificate
