Overview of The Specified Skills Evaluation Exam (held in Fukuoka)

The Specified Skills Evaluation Exam will be held at the Fukuoka Prefecture Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion Center on February 26th and 27th, 2025. This assessment test will consist of a written test and a practical test in accordance with the implementation guidelines The Specified Skills Evaluation Exam for Construction Industry established by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.

Civil engineering No. 1, architecture No. 1, lifelines and facilities No. 1, civil engineering No. 2, architecture No. 2, lifelines and facilities No. 2 (6 categories)
*You cannot take multiple exams at the same time. You can only take the exam for one exam of your choice.

Exam Dates

Wednesday, February 26, 2025, Thursday, February 27, 2025
*You cannot take the exam on multiple days including other regions. You can take the exam on the day of your choice.
*A check-in time will be specified for each examinee. You must arrive at the designated time to be able to check in. If you are late for the check-in time, you will not be able to take the exam.

Exam Capacity

Approximately 40 people each day (80 people in total for both days)
*If the number of applicants exceeds the capacity, you may not be able to take the exam.

Exam Fee

2,000 yen
*Please pay in cash at the reception.

How to apply

Apply via smartphone.
Install the smartphone app "JAC Members" and register an account.
Once you log in, please apply by following the instructions on the screen.

What to bring on the day

① Certificate

    • * For residents, residence card
    • * temporary entrant do not have a residence card must have a passport.
      *Must be the original. Copies will not be accepted for the exam.

② Examination ticket

    • The receipt will be sent to your "JAC Members" message, so please show it on your smartphone or other device on the day.

③ Examination fee: 1,000 yen in cash

If you do not bring it with you on the day, you will not be able to take the exam.

*You are not allowed to share items with other test takers. Please prepare your own items.

Announcement of results

You will receive a message from "JAC Members" approximately two weeks after the exam.
If you pass, the pass certificate will be sent to "JAC Members".
the pass certificate is a PDF file, so please keep it in a safe place.
We cannot answer inquiries regarding the content of the exam questions or individual pass/fail results.

Each exam has 4 textbooks (4 files) and 3 practical textbooks, so please study for the exam using the textbooks. Also, please try to solve the sample questions.

The scope of The Specified Skills Evaluation Exam in the construction field is as follows:
