CCUS charge support

Supporting CCUS costs

One of the requirements for certification of a construction Specified Skills acceptance plan is that accepting companies and Specified Skilled Worker (i) must be registered in Construction Career Up System (CCUS).
As part of its "CCUS charge support" program, JAC fully covers the administrator ID usage fees for businesses employing specified skilled workers, as well as the ability assessment fees for specified skilled workers.

Administrator ID usage fee

The payment will be made to The Construction Industry Promotion Foundation (CCUS office) in advance, and JAC will later refund the full amount to the host company.

Fee for ability evaluation of Specified Skilled Worker (i)

For those who apply for a competency assessment between Friday, August 1, 2025 and Tuesday, March 31, 2026, the fee will be fully covered by the Construction Industry Promotion Fund.
Since you will not be required to pay any fees, you will not be able to apply to JAC for assistance with the ability assessment fee.

For more information, please see the Construction Industry Promotion Fund leaflet.
