Advance your career with the "Qualification Acquisition Incentive System"
Specified Skilled Worker and 100,000 yen each to the host company
Japan Association for Construction Human Resources has established the "Qualification Acquisition Incentive System" and will start accepting applications from October 1 this year.
This system provides 100,000 yen to each of the target Specified Skilled Worker and the host company if they pass either the The Specified Skills (ii) Evaluation Exam for Construction Industry, Grade 1 of the National Trade Skill Test & Certification, or a single level of the skill test.
The purpose is to provide incentives to encourage people to acquire qualifications and advance their careers.
From the perspective of fairness, it will be applied retroactively not only to those who have passed the test not only for those who have passed the test but also to those who have passed one of the The Specified Skills (ii) Evaluation Exam for Construction Industry, Grade 1 of the National Trade Skill Test & Certification, or single grades of the skill test after April 1, 2019.

Eligible recipients
In the case of (1) passing the The Specified Skills (ii) Evaluation Exam for Construction Industry] or (2) passing the construction-related Grade 1 of the National Trade Skill Test & Certification or a single grade of the skill test (*)], incentives will be provided to A and B below.
- A) Obtained (1) or (2) Specified Skilled Worker
- B) A Specified Skilled Worker Receiving Company
The Specified Skills (ii) Evaluation Exam for Construction Industry, Grade 1 of the National Trade Skill Test & Certification, and a single level of skill certification that you are working for at the time of passing
Recipient companies paying all Specified Skilled Worker (i) of the acceptance levy
*Construction-related Grade 1 of the National Trade Skill Test & Certification, occupations with a single grade of skill certification

*Shutter installation is not included in the transition requirements to Specified Skilled Worker (ii) at this time

Amount of payment, etc.
100,000 yen will be paid to recipients A (Specified Skilled Worker) and B (host company) respectively.
Scope of payment
- Those who have obtained either ① or ② above on or after April 1, 2019 are eligible for payment (retroactive applications are possible).
- Even if Recipient A (Specified Skilled Worker) passes multiple exams, etc., the payment is [one-time only]
- For recipient B (host company), all Specified Skilled Worker acquired are eligible for payment.
How to apply
You can apply using the dedicated web form. When applying, you will need to register the host company.

Please prepare the necessary documents for your application.
- Residence card
- Certificate of qualification obtained
- Specified Skilled Worker Individual and host company account information
*Limited to domestic branch accounts of financial institutions in Japan.
③ The application details will be confirmed by JAC (Secretariat).
We will check the details of your application, and if there are no problems, we will transfer the money to your designated account from the following month onwards.
If there are any errors in your application, you will be asked to submit the necessary information again to our office.
