Advance your career with the "Qualification Acquisition Incentive System"

Specified Skilled Worker (ii) 50,000 yen will be paid to the host company after the transition

Japan Association for Construction Human Resources established the "Qualification Acquisition Incentive Program" and began accepting applications from October 1, 2025.
This system allows applicants who pass one of the The Specified Skills (ii) Evaluation Exam for Construction Industry, Grade 1 of the National Trade Skill Test & Certification, or single-level skills certification and transition to a Specified Skilled Worker (ii) residence status, and then pay 50,000 yen to the accepting company.
The goal is to support a portion of the costs incurred by companies in training.

From the perspective of fairness, the application will be retroactively applied not only to those who have newly transitioned but also to those who transitioned to the Construction Sector Specified Skilled Worker (ii) residence status on or after April 1, 2019.
