Compensation system for Specified Skilled Worker (i)
Supporting the creation of an environment where people can be employed and work with peace of mind
In order to create an environment in which both accepting companies and specified skilled workers can be employed and work with peace of mind, we have introduced the "Compensation System Specified Skilled Worker (i) in the Construction Sector" on January 1, 2024.
This will specified skilled workers in terms of "further enhanced employee benefits and improved work environment," while the accepting companies will be able to "employ and retain highly motivated personnel."
Main Features
- ① As this system is operated using the acceptance fee as its source of funds, there is no additional financial burden.
- ② Specified Skilled Worker (i) are eligible for compensation.
- ③ This is "additional compensation" that provides compensation for work-related injuries that are covered by the government-run workers' accident compensation insurance (※).
