JAC offers free Japanese language lessons to the following foreigners:
You can choose your favorite course from the lineup according to your needs and level. A specialized education team will always support you and monitor your learning progress, so you can continue without dropping out. Please take this opportunity to consider taking the Japanese language courses offered by JAC.

An online course to learn kanji in everyday life
This is a Japanese language course recommended for those who are not yet familiar with kanji. The course aims to teach kanji that are commonly seen in daily life and to be able to communicate using simple expressions.

Online course to learn Japanese for use on construction sites
Foreigners working on construction sites will learn the Japanese necessary to perform their work safely and securely. They will learn about signs and instructions, things they must not do on site, etc.
[Japanese language course taught in your native language]
Online course to learn Japanese in your native language
This is a Japanese language course recommended for those who are not yet familiar with Japanese, where you can learn in your native language. You will learn how to read and write Hiragana and Katakana, as well as basic conversations commonly used in everyday life and at work.
[Sunday Real Japanese Class]
A curriculum unique to face-to-face classes, a Japanese language course that cultivates a comprehensive foundation
This course will be conducted face-to-face (in person). (It cannot be taken online.)
Lessons focus on a curriculum that can only be achieved through face-to-face learning, including conversation, discussion, and role-playing, and aim to develop the basics of comprehensive speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
[Moji to Kotoba (formerly known as Moji to Goi)]
A one-month intensive course for beginners of Japanese, starting with reading and writing characters
You will be able to write Japanese hiragana and katakana and read them correctly. You will also aim to learn simple Japanese words for everyday life. (Total of 12 sessions / 50 minutes each)
This is a short-term online course for people who have not yet mastered the Japanese language.
[Japanese Language Course for Passing the Exam (formerly known as Online Japanese Language Course)]
We offer five courses ranging from N5 to N2 levels. Courses where you can learn Japanese at your level with the goal of obtaining a qualification.
You can study step by step from N5 to N2 level in a course that suits you. You will study while talking directly with a Japanese teacher online.
With the goal of obtaining a qualification, the N5 and N4 courses teach basic Japanese necessary for daily conversation, while the N3 and N2 courses teach specialized Japanese for use in the workplace.
Online lessons are held twice a week on weekday evenings. You can take lessons on your smartphone after work. (Total of 20 lessons / 1 hour each)
[Let's talk in Japanese! (Formerly known as Sunday Japanese Class)]
Face-to-face Japanese language course. Focus on practicing daily conversation.
Students gather in classrooms and learn Japanese face-to-face while communicating with teachers and other students. They practice basic conversations often used in daily life and at work, aiming to improve their listening and speaking skills.

Online courses focused on passing the Japanese Language Proficiency Test from N5 to N2
This is an intensive exam preparation course focusing on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test levels N5 to N2.
Having a concrete goal of passing the exam keeps you motivated and helps you continue studying. Aiming for step-ups encourages you to continue studying Japanese, and supports the improvement of your Japanese language ability and mid- to long-term career development.

- Please be sure to take the placement test (a practical test to confirm which course you will be taking). Depending on the result, we may ask you to change the course you wish to take, but if the number of applicants for the course you wish to change to exceeds the limit, we may have to refuse your participation. In that case, please consider taking the next course scheduled.
- You can take each JAC Japanese language course any number of times, but if the course reaches capacity, priority will be given to first-time students.
- The cost of internet connection will be borne by the student.
