Overview of The Specified Skills Evaluation Exam (held in Sendai)

The Specified Skills Evaluation Exam will be held on August 23rd at the Sendai Chamber of Commerce and Industry 8th floor middle conference room. This evaluation test will consist of a written test and a practical test in accordance with the implementation guidelines The Specified Skills Evaluation Exam for Construction Industry established by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.

*You cannot take multiple exams at the same time. You can only take the exam for one exam of your choice.

Friday, August 23, 2024
*You cannot take the exam on multiple days including other regions. You can take the exam on the day of your choice.
*A check-in time will be specified for each examinee. You must arrive at the designated time to be able to check in. If you are late for the check-in time, you will not be able to take the exam.

What to bring on the day

① Certificate

    • * For residents, residence card
    • * temporary entrant do not have a residence card must have a passport.
      *Must be the original. Copies will not be accepted for the exam.

② Examination ticket

③ Examination fee: 2,000 yen in cash

If you do not bring it with you on the day, you will not be able to take the exam.

*You are not allowed to share items with other test takers. Please prepare your own items.

Announcement of results

This will be done individually on your My Page approximately two weeks after the exam.
If you pass, the pass certificate will be sent to your personal page.
the pass certificate is a PDF file, so please keep it in a safe place.

Steps from application to receiving the pass certificate

Follow the steps below to apply for the exam, receive your certificate, and have your results published.
Candidates must register their My Page and install the smartphone app before applying to take the test.

To apply for the exam, the candidate must log in to their "My Page" and use the smartphone app "JAC ExamForm." (The candidate must have their own account for their My Page.)


The examination admission ticket, result notice, and certificate of passing will be sent directly to the candidate via "My Page".

Only the number of test takers, the number of successful candidates, and the pass rate will be made public; individual test results will not be made public.
