As the acceptance of specified skilled workers has become more widespread, JAC will focus on the following two areas to improve its support services so that specified skilled workers can play an active role in the construction industry in the medium to long term.

Free online special education

To prevent workplace accidents, JAC provides free online special training on safety and health to foreign workers engaged in certain hazardous work.

Free skills training courses

"Temporary Return Support" to ease the burden

JAC provides a certain amount of support to cover the costs of temporary return to one's home country for specified skilled workers, to enable companies to smoothly handle long leave or unexpected return to their home country.

CCUS charge support

JAC provides "CCUS charge support" by helping to cover the costs of administrator ID usage fees for businesses employing specified skilled workers and the fees for competency assessments for specified skilled workers.

Free Japanese language courses

JAC offers free Japanese language courses to eligible foreigners. We have a lineup of courses tailored to the needs and Japanese level of the students.

"Post-acceptance training" to deepen understanding of the system

JAC will cover the full cost of the "Post-Acceptance Training" course for specified skilled workers who have been working for up to six months and is run by Foundation for International Transfer of Skills and Knowledge in Construction foundation.

Compensation system for Specified Skilled Worker (i)

This is "additional compensation" that provides compensation for work-related accidents that are covered by national workers' compensation insurance, so there is no additional financial burden.
