Information on joining Japan Association for Construction Human Resources

In order for a construction company to accept Specified Skilled Worker, it must be a member of one of the (one) Japan Association for Construction Human Resources of the the company which carry out the business of hiring specified skilled workers or as a supporting member.



Two routes to become a member of Japan Association for Construction Human Resources

There are two ways to become a JAC member!

1. Route to become a member of a regular member organization

When joining, you will need to pay membership fees set by the construction industry association.
(The amount varies depending on the group.)

Payment methods for membership fees and hosting fees vary depending on the organization.

2. Route to become a JAC supporting member

Annual membership fee: 240,000 yen (no joining fee)

Membership fees and acceptance fees are paid by direct debit from the bank account you registered when you joined.
*You will receive a notification of direct debit before the payment is deducted.

Companies (individuals) who wish to join as regular members and use the service

Joining one of the regular membership organizations allows you to accept Specified Skilled Worker for any occupation.

If you are already a member of one of the regular member organizations and submit your organization's membership card when applying for certification to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the organization may provide guidance on the payment of the acceptance fee, so please inform your organization that you will use Specified Skilled Worker System.

Companies (individuals) who wish to join as supporting members

To become an associate member of our organization, please follow the steps below. Applications will be subject to an examination process.

First, download the enrolment materials
Please fill in the required information in the document request form and download the materials from the URL of the email you will receive.
Registered Support Organizations ・Administrative scriveners cannot apply on their behalf. Please enter it at the company you wish to join.

Apply for membership through the entry form
Please read the downloaded materials carefully and then apply for membership using the entry form included in the email you received when downloading.

Sending required documents
Please fill out and send the documents enclosed with the downloaded materials.

Membership screening and approval
Membership applications are reviewed for applications that are completed (and documents arrive at JAC) by 12:00 noon on the 25th of each month (or the next business day if the 25th falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday), and will be approved on the second business day of the following month.

Membership card issuance
If your application is approved, you will receive an email with instructions on how to apply for your membership card.
Please be sure to complete the procedure according to the instructions in the email.

Before the membership card issuance procedure can be completed, your company will need to complete a separate procedure (verifying the membership card we will send you).

Please note that the membership card confirmation URL included in the email will be valid for 10 days.
Please respond within the deadline.

*The annual membership fee will be debited from your registered account on the 26th of the month following the month in which your membership card is issued (or the next business day if that day falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday).
