[Ended] Information session on Specified Skilled Worker Program (Construction Field)
Information sessions on Specified Skills System will be held nationwide
It has been four years since the new employment-oriented residence status "Specified Skills" was established in April 2019. Is there anything about the Specified Skills system that is difficult to understand?
JAC will hold information sessions in 12 prefectures across the country from September 2023 to February 2024.
At the information session, we will introduce the latest status and systems for accepting foreign human resources. In addition, we will explain with examples the "key points for creating an acceptance plan" that is necessary for the procedure to change the status of residence, which is a frequently asked question. Please take this opportunity to deepen your understanding.
You can attend the information sessions in person at the venue, but they will also be streamed live from all venues, so you can join in from your office, a field office, or even while working remotely.
"National System Briefing Session" Leaflet

[Part I: Overview of specified skilled workers System (Construction Sector)] (20 mins)
We will introduce the latest situation regarding the acceptance of foreign human resources, taking into account the current situation of technical intern trainees working in the construction industry and future trends in the number of construction skilled workers. We will also explain the outline of the "specified skilled workers System" with examples of points to note and benefits when utilizing foreign human resources.
[Part II: specified skilled workers, etc.] (approximately 30 minutes)
The construction industry has unique requirements for Specified Skills that are not found in other industries. Accepting companies must have their acceptance plans certified, which meet requirements such as joining JAC, registering with Construction Career Up System, and being employed on a monthly salary basis. In Part II, we will clearly explain the key points to consider when creating this acceptance plan and provide an overview of JAC's business, with examples.
[Free individual consultations for venue participants only]
We will hold our popular "free individual consultation session." Please feel free to ask any questions you may have difficulty asking at the information session at the individual consultation session. Please feel free to consult with JAC about any issues or problems specific to your company.
