[Applications closed] 2024 Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award "Construction Future Award with Foreign Talent"

This is the first system in Japan to recognize foreign workers with "Specified Skills" residence status who have made outstanding efforts to acquire construction and communication skills and who aim to play a leading role at construction sites, as well as companies that promote the further improvement of the skills and communication skills of foreign construction workers as a whole and are notable for their continuous efforts to develop and improve the treatment of foreign human resources, and companies that are developing new businesses through contact with foreign human resources.

The purpose of presenting the awards is to widely publicize the efforts of the above recipients, to increase the number of examples of how the foreign worker acceptance system is being utilized, and to encourage further efforts by accepting companies, thereby contributing to the realization of a society in Japan where foreign human resources can coexist in harmony with each other.

There are three awards in two categories:
[1] Foreign construction technician category
1. Outstanding Foreign Construction Technician Award
[2] Host Company/Organization Category
2. Foreign Talent Development Award
3. Business Development Award

This award is given to individuals with "Specified Skills" residence status who have made outstanding efforts in acquiring construction and communication skills, and who aim to take on leadership roles at construction sites.

The award recognizes companies and other organizations that have made outstanding continuous efforts to develop foreign human resources and improve their working conditions.

The award recognizes companies and other organizations that have developed new businesses through contact with foreign talent.

It means to shine brightly or stand out among many others.

By applying, you will have the opportunity to reexamine and organize your company's initiatives and gain new insights.
If your company wins the award, in addition to the honor of receiving the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award, you can also expect to see increased employee satisfaction and ambition, as well as promotional effects as a superior company.

There are no fees for submitting an application. However, applicants must prepare their own internet environment to submit their application.

If you provide technical training directly to Specified Skilled Worker, you can apply.

Applications are accepted. The size of your business does not matter when it comes to application and screening.

Specified Skilled Worker Please fill in all fields, even if you are applying in person. Please consult with your company and apply.

Yes, you can apply. In that case, please fill out one application form per person and submit the same number of applications as the number of people.

You can still apply. Please include any changes you have made since your last application, or any new qualifications you have acquired.

You cannot apply. This program is only available to businesses that are currently underway at the time of application. If you have plans to start a business in the future, please consider applying again in the future.

You can apply. The "Business Development Award" awards companies that are developing new businesses through contact with foreign construction technicians (Technical Intern Training students, construction workers, Specified Skilled Worker). Specified Skilled Worker 's employment or membership in JAC will not affect the screening in any way.

The information submitted when applying will be shared with the secretariat and judging committee for the purpose of running and screening the award, but will not be made public. However, if your application is ultimately awarded, we will introduce it as an award-winning case in various media.

As a general rule, additions or corrections cannot be made to submitted content. If the application period is still open, please re-enter your information into the application form and submit it, and then consult with the secretariat of each award.

Once the application form has been sent successfully, the screen will switch to the completion screen. The information you entered in the application form will also be sent to the email address you entered as an automatic reply email. If you cannot find it, please check your spam folder. If you still cannot find it, please contact the secretariat of each award.

1,200 characters is the maximum number of characters that can be entered, and the number of characters will not affect the review.

Once the judging is complete, winners will be contacted individually by email. Applicants who did not receive a prize will also be notified of the results by email.

There are no prizes or grants.

In order to disseminate best practice, after the announcement of the awards, we would appreciate your cooperation in publicizing and promoting the award in various media, such as providing photographs for introduction, conducting interviews, etc.

Whether or not you participate in the award ceremony will not affect the judging. Please give priority to work and submit your application to us with information about your excellent technicians and initiatives.

The secretariat will not cover travel expenses to attend the award ceremony. Please note that these expenses must be borne by the applicant.
