Testing begins in Vietnam in August

The overseas The Specified Skills (i) Evaluation Exam for Construction Industry (civil engineering, architecture, lifeline/facilities) is currently being conducted in Indonesia, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Myanmar, and Nepal, and from August 2024, the test will begin in Vietnam.

Other countries

If additional countries are added to the test list in the future, we will announce the details on our website.

This test will be outsourced to Prometric, which is contracted to administer various tests in over 180 countries around the world, and will use the Computer Based Testing (CBT) method to administer The Specified Skills (i) Evaluation Exam.

Apply for a certificate of passing an overseas exam through the "JAC Members" app

If you take and pass the "The Specified Skills Evaluation Exam" overseas, you can apply for a certificate of passing using the smartphone app "JAC Members."
The "JAC Members" app also includes a service that provides job information at construction companies to those who have passed the overseas exam, as well as a service that provides job-seeking information of those who have passed the overseas exam to construction companies.
This means that those who pass the overseas exam and wish to work on Japanese construction sites can communicate directly with Japanese companies looking to hire via the app.
