Testing begins in Vietnam in August

In addition to the currently conducted overseas The Specified Skills (i) Evaluation Exam for Construction Industry (civil engineering, architecture, Infrastructure Facilities and equipment) in Indonesia, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Myanmar, and Nepal, the trial will begin in Vietnam in August 2024.

Other countries

If additional countries are added to the test list in the future, we will announce the details on our website.

This test will be outsourced to Prometric, which is contracted to administer various tests in over 180 countries around the world, and will use the Computer Based Testing (CBT) method to administer The Specified Skills (i) Evaluation Exam.

Apply for pass certificate for overseas exams via the "JAC Members" app

To apply for pass certificate if you take and pass the 'The Specified Skills Evaluation Exam' exam overseas, you will use the smartphone app 'JAC Members.'
Additionally, the "JAC Members" app includes services that provide job information from construction companies to overseas exam passers, as well as job information from overseas exam passers to construction companies.
This allows overseas exam passers wishing to work at Japanese construction sites to interact directly with Japanese recruiting companies through the app.
