Important Notice Regarding the Domestic Implementation of The Specified Skills Evaluation Exam for Construction Industry
On January 23, 2025, a fraudulent case occurred at a domestic testing site for The Specified Skills Evaluation Exam for Construction Industry administered by Japan Association for Construction Human Resources (JAC). After discovering the case, JAC promptly reported it to the police and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
Based on the "The Specified Skills Evaluation Exam for Construction Industry Implementation Guidelines," JAC has suspended the exams of those who committed fraud and is conducting the exams properly. Going forward, in consultation with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and our legal advisors, we will take necessary measures, such as disciplinary action, against those who committed fraud in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations and the guidelines.
JAC will continue to work closely with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and other authorities to ensure that exams are conducted properly and fairly, including taking thorough measures against fraudulent cases.
