JAC requests your cooperation in completing a survey on the current state of acceptance

Survey on the current status of accepting specified skilled workers in the construction industry and foreign technical intern trainees

We would like to thank you for your continued support and cooperation in accepting foreign human resources into the construction sector.

Currently, Japan Association for Construction Human Resources (JAC) is conducting a joint survey with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism with the aim of promoting the creation and promotion of the attractiveness of Japan's construction industry as a labor market through cooperation between the public and private sectors, such as by developing foreign skilled workers with a medium- to long-term perspective that goes beyond short-term compensation, and ensuring a safe working environment and stable income over the medium to long term, so that Japan will continue to be the "country of choice" for workers from other countries.

As part of the above survey activities, we would like to conduct a "Questionnaire Survey on the Actual Conditions of Acceptance of Construction specified skilled workers and Foreign Technical Intern Trainees" targeting host companies, foreign workers and their Japanese colleagues to understand the current status of foreign construction workers and host companies, as well as to provide important data for the government to consider necessary measures and specified skilled workers activities to be enhanced as an implementing corporation for acceptance programs in the future. The survey will be used as important data for the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) and JAC to collaborate and study the necessary measures and activities that should be enhanced as a corporation implementing the training program.
