Setting your job seeker information to public or private (JAC Members)

To view job postings on the notice board in the "JAC Members" app or send messages to companies, you must make the job seeker information you entered at "Request to register job seeker information (JAC Members)" public.
Companies will be able to view your job seeker information when you make it public.

Procedure for setting job seeker information to public or private

Follow the procedure below to set your job seeker information to public or private.

Step1.
Open "The foreign job seekers who live out Japan information"

1-1. Open the "The menu of the recruitment information for residents out of Japan bulletin board" screen

Tap "BBS" on the bottom menu bar on the "JAC Members" app home screen

The "The menu of the recruitment information for residents out of Japan bulletin board" will open.



*"The information of job seekers (in public)" will appear if your job seeker information is already public.


  • ①Screen when job seeker information is public.

  • ②Screen when job seeker information is private.

1-2. Open "The foreign job seekers who live out Japan information"

Tap [The information of job seekers].
"The foreign job seekers who live out Japan information" will open.



Step2.
Open your job seeker information

2-1. Confirm information

Confirm the registered job seeker information.

Scroll to the bottom of the screen and check all of the information.

If you wish to change your job seeker information,
Go to "Request to change job seeker information (JAC Members)".


Step3.
Set your job seeker information to "public" or "private"

3-1. Setting your job seeker information to public

Tap [Change it to in public] on the "The foreign job seekers who live out Japan information" screen.
The "Confirm it is in public" dialog box will appear.

Tap [Change it to in public].

Return to the "The menu of the recruitment information for residents out of Japan bulletin board".

Check that your job seeker information is now "In public".



3-2. Setting your job seeker information to private

Tap [Change it to in private] on the "The foreign job seekers who live out Japan information" screen.
The "Confirm it is in private" dialog box will appear.

Tap [Change it to in private] in the "Confirm it is in private" dialog box.

Return to the "The menu of the recruitment information for residents out of Japan bulletin board" screen.

Check that your job seeker information is now "In private".

* You will not be able to view the "The recruitment information for residents out of Japan" notice board when your "The foreign job seekers who live out Japan information" is set to private.
