Register Account (JAC Members)
You must register the account on smartphone app "JAC Members" to get the pass certificate for the exam taken out of Japan.

Account registration procedure
Follow the procedure below to register for a JAC Members smartphone app account.
Step1.
Displaying the "Apply for the Account" screen
1-1. Open JAC Members
Open the JAC Members app.
The JAC Members app login screen will appear.
Please note
"This account already exists" will be displayed if you have already created an account with the smartphone used for the application.
When "This account already exists." displays:
If you do not know your email address,
Go to I forgot my registered email address for "JAC Members".
If you have do not know your password,
Go to I forgot my registered password for "JAC Members".
1-2. Displaying the "Apply for the Account" screen
Tap [Register a new account] on the login screen.The "Apply for the Account" screen will appear.
Step2.
Enter your information on the "Apply for the Account" screen
2-1. Enter your email and password
Enter your email address and password.
Enter your email address.
2. Password / Check password★Rules (8 or more half-width characters)
Passwords must be at least eight half-width characters in length and include at least two of the following character types:
- ・Uppercase letters(ABC...)
- ・Lowercase letters(abc...)
- ・Numbers(123...)
- ・Symbols(~!@#$%^&*()-_+=|{}]['";?<>,.)
2-2. Select "Standpoint"
Under "Standpoint", select "Specified Skilled Worker".
2-3. Take pictures of the residence card
Tap the 
icon in the "Take photos of Residence Card" area. Read the explanation on the screen carefully. Take three photos (A to C) using your smartphone. Position the card within the frame.
A. Front of ID showing your face
B. Angled photo showing card thickness and your face
C. Back of ID (side without face)
2-4. Take pictures of the ID card (if you don't have the residence card)
*If you took the pictures of the residence card on "2-3. Take pictures of the ID card (with the residence card)", please go to "2-5. Take a photo of your face".Display the screen to use any other ID card except the residence card
On the area of "Take photos of your residence card.", tap "tap here." of "If you have a residence card, tap here.".
Enter your name and select your date of birth and nationality
Please enter your name in upper case. (A, B, C, ...)
ex）JOHN SMITH
2. Date of birthSelect your date of birth from the calendar.
3. NationalitySelect your nationality.
Take pictures of the identification (with passport)
On the area of "take Photos of the Identification", select "Passport" and tap .
Take a photo of the information page with the photo of your face and name.
★Good photos
・Characters can be read clearly.
★Bad photos
・It's glowing and you can't recognize faces or letters.
Take pictures of the identification (with other identification)
On the area of "take Photos of the Identification", select "Other" and tap .
Take a photo of both sides of the ID.
＜Identification issued by the government＞
- ・Photo ID similar to a Japanese Individual Number Card
- ・Student card
- ・Driver's license
★Good photos
・Characters can be read clearly.
★Bad photos
・It's glowing and you can't recognize faces or letters.
2-5. Take a photo of your face
Tap the 
icon in the "Take photos of your face" area. An explanation of important points will appear. Please read the explanation carefully. Tap the [Start] button to take a photo.
On the "Check your face photo" screen, check "I checked that my photo was clear". Tap the [OK] button. Then you can register the photo.
(Applications may not be approved if the photo is not taken properly.)
(Photos cannot be accepted if any of the following apply.)
Bad photo image.
Wearing masks, earphones, sunglasses, etc.Glasses are OK.
Wearing a mask on your chin.
Wearing a hat or helmet.
Out of focus.
Photos are taken without clothing.
Take a photo of your face in the dark.
People or things are reflected in the background.
Face is turned sideways.
Please take a photo that clearly shows your face.
2-6. Go to the confirmation screen
Tap [Next] to go to the confirmation screen.
Step3.
Check what you entered
3-1. Check your details and photo
Scroll the confirmation screen and confirm if what you entered is correct.
Check the details you entered are correct. If they are correct, tap [Next].
Step4.
Check the "Terms of Use"
4-1. Check the "Terms of Use"
Read the "Check Terms of Use". If you agree, tap [Next] to check the box.
Step5.
Check the "Privacy policy"
5-1. Check the "Privacy policy"
Read the displayed privacy policy.
*Privacy policy is translated from the Japanese version into each language.
If you agreed with the privacy policy, check [Agree] and tap [Apply].
The "Check mail address" screen will appear. Your account application will now be complete.
*If you are inactive for three or more minutes, your session will time out. Please log in again. The email will be sent again.
Step6.
Verify your JAC Members email address
6-1. Check you have received the email from JAC and tap the link
Immediately check that you have received an email from JAC at the address you entered in "2-1 Enter your information".
Tap the link inside the email. The "Email address authentication completed" screen on the right will appear.
Your JAC Members email address will now be verified.
Step7.
Account registration complete
7-1. Check that your account application has been approved by JAC
When you apply for an account, JAC will check the details and approve it.
Please wait for your account to be approved.
*It usually takes around two weeks.
Once your account is approved, the registration process will be complete. New information will be displayed on "What's New" of the home screen.
