08. What is FITS?
Mobile guidance and mother tongue consultation hotline services
JAC, the company which carry out the business of hiring specified skilled workers will entrust its on-site guidance and native language consultation hotline services to the International Foundation for Construction Specified Skills Promotion (FITS), Specified Skilled Worker (i) in accordance with the Foundation for International Transfer of Skills and Knowledge in Construction acceptance plan (hereinafter referred to as the "certified acceptance plan") certified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.

What is itinerant guidance?
Guidance and advice through regular visits to accepting companies and Specified Skilled Worker (i). Regular visits are made to all accepting companies' business locations at least once a year. At that time, documents are submitted based on labor-related laws, the Immigration Control Act, and other relevant laws, and interviews are conducted regarding the treatment and working conditions of Specified Skilled Worker (i). After conducting interviews with Specified Skilled Worker (i), necessary guidance and advice is provided to the accepting companies.
What is the Mother Tongue Consultation Hotline Service?
Responding directly to complaints or inquiries from Specified Skilled Worker (i) in their native language, etc., without going through the accepting company. Promptly respond to complaints or inquiries from foreigners.
If JAC discovers any of the following behaviors by accepting companies through its mobile guidance and native language consultation hotline operations, it will provide guidance for improvement and report the details of such guidance to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
Reporting to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism
- Violation of the certified acceptance plan
- Actions suspected of violating labor-related laws, immigration laws, and other related laws.
- Actions that hinder the securing of an appropriate working environment for Specified Skilled Worker (i)
The Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism will have FITS, a fair employment supervision organization, audit accepting companies that have received improvement guidance from JAC or that the Minister determines require focused and regular checks on the implementation status of their certified acceptance plans as priority audit companies.
