3. Registration for Construction Career Up System
Construction Career Up System is a system that registers and accumulates information on construction technicians' qualifications, work site employment history, social insurance enrollment status, etc. across the industry, and began operation in April 2019.
One of the requirements for certification of a construction Specified Skills acceptance plan is that the accepting company and Specified Skilled Worker (i) must be registered in Construction Career Up System.
Specifically, the Construction Construction Career Up System Construction Career Up System must be entered in the Construction Specified Skills Acceptance Plan, and a document verifying the business ID is required.
In addition, when hiring a foreign national residing in Japan, you will need to fill in their Construction Career Up Skilled Worker ID (hereinafter referred to as "skilled worker ID" in this chapter) and provide a copy of their Construction Career Up Card. Also, when hiring a foreign national coming to Japan from overseas, you will need to fill in their Skilled Worker ID and provide a copy of their Construction Career Up Card within one month of their entry, in principle.
