(1) Explanation of important matters related to specified skilled worker employment contracts
The host company must use the "Advance Explanation of Important Matters Related to the Employment Contract" (Notification Form No. 2 (related to Article 3)) to explain in advance the expected amount of remuneration to be paid to the Specified Skilled Worker (i) and the content of the work in a language that the foreigner can fully understand, and confirm that the foreign national understands the important matters related to the employment contract.
This explanation of important matters does not necessarily have to be given face-to-face; it can also be done via video call, etc.
In addition, examples of "Advance Explanation of Important Points Regarding Employment Contracts" in languages that foreigners can fully understand are available on the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's website, including "Japanese/English" and "Japanese/Vietnamese" examples.
