A sequel to the popular course! Learn about Myanmar!

外国人共生講座12月14日 第4回ミャンマーを知る

[Free Online Course] December's course is "Getting to Know Myanmar!"

Many people probably have the image that Myanmar people are characterized by gentle and kindhearted personalities, that Buddhism is their main religion and that they are very religious. However, on the other hand, Myanmar is a multi-ethnic country where various ethnic groups coexist. As a result, Myanmar's culture is rich in diversity.

It is important not to contact Myanmar people based on only your image of them, but to communicate with them after understanding their culture, history, religious views, customs, etc. Please deepen your understanding of Myanmar in the 4th lecture of the Foreigner Coexistence Course "Get to Know Myanmar!"

Since 2006, I have been involved with trainees, technical interns, Specified Skills, and skilled laborers from overseas.
I am currently in charge of Myanmar and have a deep understanding of the situation in Myanmar. Based on my experience of accepting many Myanmar personnel, I will provide information on the national character, culture, and daily life of an average Myanmar household.

What is JAC's Foreigner Coexistence Course?

第1回Indonesia 第2回Philippines 第3回Vietnam 第4回Myanmar 第5回Nepal 第6回Thailand

A seminar to learn about the cultures and customs of various countries is scheduled to be held for a total of six times from July 2023. The first three will introduce Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. The last three will introduce Myanmar, Nepal, and Thailand, the countries that were most popular in the survey of participants.

Our experienced instructors will carefully explain the characteristics of each country and its people, which you won't understand when you're traveling. We will be taking questions during the seminar, so please join us live.

Recommended for:

  • Those who are thinking about accepting foreigners but are unsure which country to choose
  • Those who don't know how to communicate
  • Those who can't imagine working with foreigners

Even in Japan, if you were raised in a different environment, it can be hard to understand something. What's more, if you come from a different country, the customs, culture, and religion are all different, so it's only natural that your inclinations and thoughts will be different.
In order to reach an agreement with such a person, mutual understanding is necessary. And by building a relationship of trust, the training, utilization, and retention of foreigners will improve significantly, and they will grow into an important asset for your company.

This year, we at JAC are holding this course free of charge as part of an initiative to help create workplaces that are easy for specified skilled workers to work in, including helping to facilitate communication at the workplace and in everyday life.
