Trial The Specified Skills (i) Evaluation Exam test will be held
On August 30th, all work related to the construction industry, including occupations subject to technical intern training, was reorganized into three Specified Skills work categories: Civil Engineering, Architecture, and Lifeline/Facilities. In line with this reorganization, The Specified Skills (i) Evaluation Exam was also consolidated into three examination categories.
Prior to the start of testing for the new categories, we will be conducting trial testing.
You will be asked to take one of the new practical exams (3 types) and written exams (3 types) of your choice.
(Depending on the situation at the venue, we may ask you to participate in multiple tests.)
The trial exam will not be assessed as a pass or fail, but you can try out the new exam for free!
This is a great opportunity for you to experience what the new exam is about and how the exam method will change from before, so please come along and participate.
You can experience things like this.
● Apply for the exam (from your personal page on the website)
● Go to the exam venue (JAC's exam venue is in Toranomon, Tokyo)
● Check-in at the exam venue (checking if you have left anything behind, etc.)
● CBT exam experience (test method using a computer)

Overview of the new category "trial test"
● Trial test will be held on Saturday and Sunday!!
2022 Wednesday, October 12, Thursday, October 13, Friday, October 14, Saturday, October 15, or Sunday, October 16
Please choose one of the five days.
● Trial test venue
JAC (Japan Association for Construction Human Resources Toranomon, Minato-ku, Tokyo)
● Number of participants
Approximately 10 to 20 people for each test (※Applications will be closed once the planned number of people is reached)
● Trial exam fee
Free (please pay for transportation costs)
● Application deadline
12:00 noon on the day before each test
(Example: For a trial test on Sunday the 16th, please apply by noon on Saturday the 15th.)

Trial exam scope and sample questions
The test scope for the trial exam is as follows. There are four academic textbooks (4 files) and three practical textbooks (3 files) for each of the three new sections, so please use the textbooks to prepare for the exam. Also, please try the sample questions.
