"Basic Knowledge of Employing Foreign Nationals" to be held on July 24th
Japan's foreign employment system is centered around the residence status system, and the rules that apply vary greatly depending on the employment type and job content. There are many points that can be confusing, such as which residence status is appropriate for employment, what level of work can be assigned, and whether the same labor laws as for Japanese citizens apply.
Proceeding with employment without a proper understanding of the system and laws can unintentionally lead to legal violations. Therefore, it is important to systematically learn the basic knowledge before starting employment and when continuing to employ someone.
This course will focus on the overview and characteristics of employing foreign nationals in Japan, the basic concepts of the residence status system, and key points of labor law to be aware of when employing foreign nationals. The course will be presented by experts in foreign national employment in a way that is easy for beginners to understand.
This content will help both those considering employing foreign workers and those already employing them to review and organize practical foundational knowledge.
Recommended for:
- For HR managers who are hiring foreign nationals for the first time and don't know where to start.
- Managers who want to improve their on-site management system
