The JAC website uses AI automatic translation (machine translation). Because it is machine translation, the translation may not always be accurate.
About the automatic translation (machine translation) function

This is the procedure for entering and reporting information on specified skilled workers transitioning to Category 2 status.

When reporting a transition to Type 2, the default for "Engagement Status" will be "Transition to Type 2."
The transition date to Category 2 should be entered by referring to the “Residence Card Effective Date” listed on the “Specified Skilled Worker (ii) Residence Card.”


Return to the menu screen and click "Confirm Plan" to confirm that the employment status of the foreign national you reported on the list of Specified Skilled Worker (i) is now "Transition to Type 2."
