Is that Japanese being properly conveyed?

JAC will hold the "Plain Japanese Course" as a foreign symbiosis course for Japan employees from July 2024.

When you want to communicate with the increasing number of foreigners living in Japan and the diversification of nationalities, why not use "Plain Japanese" to convey it rather than translating or interpreting into a foreign language that you are not good at?

What is "Plain Japanese"?

"Plain Japanese" is a simple Japanese that is designed to be understood by foreigners.

In the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake of 1995, many foreigners in Japan were unable to take appropriate action because they did not fully understand Japanese. Therefore, many foreigners suffered. Therefore, "Plain Japanese" was born with the aim of quickly and accurately conveying information to foreigners who are unfamiliar with Japanese in the event of a disaster.

There is nothing to say if we can communicate in "multiple languages" that are considerate of all foreign employees, but this has its limits and costs. There are actually many foreigners who understand "Plain Japanese".

It is important for foreign employees to study Japanese, but by using the "Plain Japanese" that Japan employees also approach them, the training, utilization, and retention of foreigners will be greatly improved, and they will grow into an important force for your company.

I can't communicate effectively with foreign employees due to the language barrier.
I don't know how to give instructions to my foreign employees.
