About JAC (Japan Association for Construction Human Resources)

Japan Association for Construction Human Resources established in April 2019 to realize appropriate and smooth acceptance of foreign human resources into the Japanese construction industry, which is facing a serious labor shortage.

Our main activities include implementing evaluation tests, providing free job placement services, and supervising appropriate employment to ensure an appropriate working environment for specified skilled workers in the construction industry.

Greetings

Safe for specified skilled workers
Aiming for an environment where employees can demonstrate their abilities

The construction industry is made up of people. Specified Skills System was created to address the critical situation of a worsening labor shortage.

The maximum period of stay for Specified Skilled Worker (i) visa holder is five years in total, and if you move to level 2, you will be able to bring your family along. In other words, many foreigners who are aiming for Specified Skills visa come to Japan with the intention of staying long-term.

We consider it an important initiative to provide an environment where foreign workers can work comfortably. It is a very important mission to support specified skilled workers so that they can work safely and to establish a system that allows them to fully utilize their abilities. Currently, we are providing support services such as qualification acquisition, safety education, and Japanese language education to specialized construction industry associations and member companies that are actively accepting foreign workers, and we plan to expand these services in the future.

JAC started from scratch and has progressed together with member organizations and member companies. While it is still incomplete, it is certainly a system and organization that can continue to evolve. As an organization that responds to major issues within the industry, we will continue to work hard to contribute to the further development of the construction industry.
